RELEASE DATE : February 19
The story begins with a conversation between Tantris and Isolde Two.
Tantris: Isolde, who am I?
Isolde Two: What are you talking about all of a sudden? You are Tantris.
Tristan mentions that when they first met, he murmured Tantris and Isolde’s names, and that he has a vague memory of a great mission in his mind. That is all he remembers.
Tantris comments that she feels as if those who helped Isolde Two know her.
Isolde Two tells him that he should calm down and rest.
However, Tantris continues to insist that he is the prince of Liones and one of the Seven Deadly Sins. These words resonate in his mind, and he believes that his true name may be Tristan.
Isolde Two responds that it is not important, that he should stop worrying and just look into her eyes. Tristan smiles and apologizes, admitting that he was too moved by what he could remember.
Isolde Two begins to RECITE A SPELL (just like Gawain and Worreldane), and Tristan’s eyes begin to lose their shine.
Tantris: I agree, I don’t care anymore.
Isolde Two: You and I together… if we could be together, that is all that matters.
In the end, Isolde Two is exhausted and comments: «We will escape this prison. To do so, you must win the next fight.»
He then starts looking for something in his disguise and tells Tantris that it is something he wanted to give him before the fight.
It is the blue outfit/armor that appears on the color cover of chapter 162.
Isolde mentions that it was her father’s outfit when he was young and that it will probably fit Tristan well.
Tantris wonders what Isolde Two’s father was like, and she blushes and replies:
«He was a proud and strict person, but to me he was a loving father.» (The image shows Isolde Two’s father holding her as a child.)
Change of scene: Percival, Nasiens and Anne.
Anne tells Percival: «Don’t blame him too much today.»
Percival: About Diodora?
Nasiens asks if it’s okay to talk about it, considering what happened.
Anne says she’s grateful for Percival’s concern, but she also recognizes that she acted impulsively due to the lack of information about Diodora, which made her react in a conflicted way.
She explains that Ironside never told Diodora about what he did, so he seems like a good father in the boy’s eyes.
She adds that she believes the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were responsible for what happened. Besides, the only thing Diodora could feel was despair.
Percival looks at Nasiens, both confused.
Scene with Diodora in his room, with Turret in front of him (still injured).
Diodora asks if Turret is okay and apologizes for what happened. He says that tomorrow he will do his best for both of them, so he should cheer up and go out to look for food.
Rothes gets up, ready to follow Diodora, but is stopped by Turret.
Rothes: What’s wrong?
Turret: Why did we end up in this misery? Why is Ironside being affected by a simple prophecy? Why doesn’t King Arthur do anything to solve this? What a fool I was! Because, if you think about it, the only one Ironside forgot was his stupid son.
Rothes: What are you talking about?
Turret insists: «Diodora fell here because he is useless.»
Rothes: Have you gone mad? Our mission is to support Mr. Diodora so that he can recover Ironside’s memories!
Turret: Remember, who took us in when we were orphans and taught us how to fight? Don’t forget, Ironside is like a father to us. He served us faithfully all this time. But Diodora… just for being his son he received unconditional love. We are the true children of Ironside! Our mission is to get rid of the useless.
Rothes: What should I do, then…?
Rothes reunites with Diodora with a wry smile and helps him carry the food.
Diodora: I think Turret hates me…
Rothes: Why do you think that?
Diodora: Because I can’t do anything without you… If it weren’t for you, I would have lost.
Rothes: Our mission is to protect you.
Diodora: I’m glad to hear that. To me, you’re like an older brother. You’ve always been with me, and even without friends, I’ve never felt alone… Now that I don’t have my uncle and my father has lost his memory, there’s only you left, Rothes.
Rothes: Diodora…
Diodora: Was it this way? I think I got lost… (They are in a desolate place with no way out.)
Rothes, with tears in his eyes: «Forgive me.»
Suddenly, Rothes puts his hands around Diodora’s neck, squeezing it. Diodora is completely confused.
Diodora tries to speak, but Rothes is strangling him.
Rothes: «I’m sorry… We will be worthy in your place.» (He says this crying and in complete despair.)
Diodora couldn’t believe what was happening and talk inside his own mind:
My beloved uncle was murdered.
My loving father forgot me.
My only friends… were never my friends.
Slowly, Diodora loses consciousness until his hand falls to the ground.
