The color cover marks the beginning of a new arc featuring Kazuya and Mami.

Mami, speaking softly and acting uncharacteristically modest, leaves Kazuya confused.
It turns out this is Mami’s first day at the driving school as well.
Their conversation doesn’t flow, and as they head to the classroom, Kazuya messes up his hair in frustration—he just can’t focus at all. He can’t stop thinking about Mami.
Even the trademark Rent-A-Girlfriend background bystanders whisper, “That girl’s so cute—she’s totally a model or something.”
Meanwhile, Kazuya’s signature inner monologue starts up too, as he mentally describes Mami with an “overwhelming princess aura.”
During the lecture video, Kazuya spaces out, daydreaming about a sweet driving date with Chizuru.
After a while, Mami suddenly speaks to him, asking, “Did you finish scheduling your classes?” When Kazuya replies, “Yeah, more or less,” Mami pulls out her phone and asks if she can take a picture.

Kazuya freezes, unsure why she’d need a photo of his schedule. Did she just want a reference? Does she want to match her time with mine? Or… does she want to avoid me?
Then it hits him—he once missed a call from Mami and never called back. He apologizes for forgetting.
